Stock Logistics
Local stock gives us a decided advantage considering our distance from the major centres. Stock is transported into our warehouse in bulk from both Australian and oversea depots. Considerable savings and security are gained with bulk stock supply as opposed to individual consignments.
In the past, a large percentage of stock such as air-conditioners and refrigerators were brought direct into our warehouse from overseas ports, saving both handligh and freight costs. Our personnel and our warehouse space combined with our modern grab-style forklift enables Jewell Distributors to handle containerised freight with east.
Local deliveries and pick up are managed efficiently by Jewell Distributors and country orders are despatched daily from our facility at back freight rates.
Stock control and stocktakes are conducted periodically at the direction of our Principals.
